She was predeceased by: her parent Laura Hart; her siblings, Lloyd and Ethelyn; her spouse John Lomax; and her child Ronald Wayne.

She is survived by: her parent David Hart; her sibling Laurena Wright; her child Richard Lomax (Mary); her grandchildren, Richard and Cynthia; and her great grandchild Lillian.
