It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Alena Dool of Kemptville, Ontario, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Mackey and Ella Mackey; her husband Lorne Dool; her brothers, Norman Mackey (Kay) and Ken Mackey (Eunice); her brother-in-law Stan Dool (Phyllis); and her sons-in-law, Ron Rosidi and Jim Gillespie.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marguerite Clifford (George Clifford); her children, Sheryl Gillespie, Susan Rosidi (David Blaikie), Carolyn Carrothers (Stephen Fennell) and Warren Dool (Laurie Goulding); and her grandchildren, Sarah, Shannon, Darcy Thompson, Angela Blaikie, Brook, Del Carrothers, Shane and Alexandra Dool. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren.
We would like to thank the caring and attentive staff at Carleton Lodge for making everything bearable, especially during the long and trying circumstances of the pandemic.
