He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Hannah. He is survived by: his wife Velma Jean (Casselman); his children, Lynn Parker (Jeremy) and Brian Vermeulen (Natalie); his grandchildren, Joshua (Maddy), Kaleb, Isaac and Zachary; his siblings, Sonja Vermeulen of Holland and Richard Vermeulen of Aruba; and his stepsiblings, Carla, Sonja, Carl and Sandra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
