We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2024, at the age of 84, Jean Hamlyn (Kemptville, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Hamlyn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grenville Stinson and Marion Stinson of North Gower; her husband Judge Peter Dean Hamlyn; and her brother David (Jean). She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda (Martin West) and Tory (Robert Shawyer); her grandchildren, Kathleen and Andrew Shawyer; her sister Janet (Alton Whitehorne); her niece Janine (Dale Visser); her great-nieces, Madalyn and Jordyn Visser; and her caregiver Caroline.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (6810 Rideau Valley Dr S, Ottawa, ON K0A2E0).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Ottawa Humane Society (https://ottawahumane.ca).
