He was predeceased by : his siblings, Robert and Dorothy; his wife of 62 years, Evelyn (Copeland); his friend, Margaret Milton. He is survived by: his wife Marina (Knops); his children, Ronald of Ottawa, Richard of Pembroke, Neil (Georgi) of Logan Lake, B. C., Debra (Derek Armstrong) of Sudbury, Gerald (Nicole) of Embrun and Karen (Patrick DeBoer) of Vernon, B. C.. He is the cherished grandpa of 32 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 step-children.
