She was predeceased by: her husband Keith Newans; her parents, Fred Joyner and Evelyn Donnell of Alberta; her sister Dorothy; and her great-nephew A. J. Newans (Rose).

She is survived by: her nephew Donald Newans (Nancy); and also Milo.
