It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Anne Richer DeWit (Kemptville, Ontario), born in Winchester, Ontario, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Elizabeth Anne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth Anne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Richer and Margaret Richer (O'Donohue); her brothers, Brian and Patrick; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth (Patrick) and Yolande (Neil).
She is survived by: her husband Albert; and her siblings, Neil Richer and Ardele Mesman (Tom).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (805 Prescott St, Kemptville, ON K0G1J0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (503 Clothier St W, Kemptville, ON K0G1J0).
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial donations to Kemptville District Hospital to support the CT Scanner Campaign (https://www.kdhfoundation.ca) or a charity of your choice.
