He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Payne and Luella Payne; his parents-in-law, Roy and Violet Letts; his brother Kevin Payne; and his niece Jennifer Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Josie Payne; his children, Shawn Payne (Katherine) and Jason Payne; and his brothers, Gerald Payne (Laurie), Lloyd Payne and Terry Payne (Leah). He is also survived by several nieces, nephew, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, many cousins.
