He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph (Zelma Gawley) and South of Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, Paul Gawley (Ruthann) and Christine Billings; his stepson Mark Nyffenegger (Corinne); his sister Lorraine McDonald (Doug); and his close friend Fran Shore. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel (210 Ontario St, Burk's Falls, ON P0A1C0). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blackheathe United Church (2320 Haldibrook Rd, Caledonia, ON N3W2G8).
