Donald Haining Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Haining (Kearney, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 65, on February 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his son Rodney Haining (Elizabeth); his mother Barbara; his mother-in-law Alice Edsall (late Robert); his siblings, Bonnie Rickward (Rob), Sheila Haining and Steve Thompson (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Cindy Davidson (Paul). He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, other family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kearney Community Centre (8 Main St, Kearney, ON P0A1M0). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice or Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
