Wilma Fern Hyland Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Fern Hyland (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wilma Fern Hyland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Bowins and Hazel Bowins; and her husbands, Leroy Hyland and Pete Burns. She is survived by: her siblings, Roy Bowins and Betty Morris (Don) of Oshawa; her grandchildren, Tricia Kay (Dave), Megan Chapman, Kristina Hyland (Chris Gee), Michelle Hyland (Tim Phillips), Steven Hyland (Cindy), Michael Rafuse (Stacey), Matthew Rafuse, Kyle Dixon (Kelsey), Casey Leddy (Carl), Drew Dixon (Jennifer), Jeffrey Butson and Jennifer Beldam (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Shelby, Ethan, Eric, Grace, Katherine, James, Carson, Allison, Connor, Brady, Jack, Julie, Brooke, Robert, Douglas, Tessa, Miller, Wallace and Waverley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Celebrations (35 Lindsay St N, Lindsay, ON K9V1T3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of Flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes in her memory.
