He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hendrick Rinzema and Wimke Rinzema; his wife Betty; his children, Lis (Dave), Elaine and Roy; and his friend Brian. He was also cherished by five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place and follow Covid-19 protocol by appointment only.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
