She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Preston; her parents, Aleta Challice and Marwood Chapman; and her siblings, Dorine Chapman, Vivian Weatherup and George Chapman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothea Branscombe and Marlyne Fisher Heasman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Ballyduff Cemetery (637 Ballyduff Rd, Pontypool, ON L0A1K0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Vaneta's name may be made to the Ballyduff Presbyterian Church or Ballyduff Cemetery. Donations may be made by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, ON K9V 3L9.
