He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen McLeod and Neil McLeod; his siblings, Elizabeth McLeod, Cameron McLeod and Lyndsay McLeod; and his sister-in-law Donna Fritze (Richard).

He is survived by: his wife Debbie McLeod; his children, Chris McLeod (Maddi), Mitch McLeod (Caelin), Simon McLeod (Rebecca Holthuysen) and Liam McLeod; his siblings, Jan Sanderson (Pete) and Rich McLeod (Dena); and his father-in-law Murray Lockwood.
