He was predeceased by: his wives, Mother and Helen; his siblings, Ernest, Ralph, Cecil and Gloria Avey; his brother-in-law Bill Christie; and his parents, Helen and Paul.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Craig Swanson (Kara), Scott Swanson (Lanna), Nick Lugmayr (Kate), Jaclyn (Travis), Naylor, Doug Little (Hillary), Mike Little (Grace), Jon Little (Alyssa) and Russ Little (Jennae); and his great grandchildren, Kaysen, Colten, Kobe Naylor, Jackson Swanson and Louise Little.
