He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; his parents, Albert and Matilda; and his sisters, Lois and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Brenda) and Susan Kirkwood (Mike); his grandchildren, Samantha, Shayne Strassburger, Michelle and Melissa Kirkwood; and his sisters, Carol and Charlotte. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
