He was predeceased by: his grandmother Erna Balser; his father Frank; and his brother Gordon. He is survived by: his girlfriend Bertha Moore; his sons, Rob (Shannon), Steve (Marci) and Dave (Natasha); his grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Jaxon, Maverick, Emerson, Kayley and Maddie; his mother Louise Fearon of Sackville, NB; his sisters, Pam of Amherst, NS and Lois of Victoria, BC.; and his pet Jenny. He is also survived by his extended family, friends.
