Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gertie Ottens (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), who passed away, on December 26, 2024. She was predeceased by: her son Pete; her siblings, Jerry (Grace), Peter (Lena), Tymen, Bill and Margaret; and her brother-in-law Aris.
She is survived by: her spouse Heike; her children, Tina, Sue (Hank) and Steve (Christine); her daughter-in-law Kathy; her siblings, Hillie, John (Debra), Zeger (Penny) and Klaasje (Hank); and her in-laws, Jan Ottens (Susanne), Anna, Grace and Willem. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jennings Creek Christian Reformed Church (206 Angeline St N, Lindsay, ON K9V4Y4). A reception will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
