Barry Verwey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Verwey (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Verwey and Leny Verwey; and his siblings-in-law, Barry McLean and Shirley Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Belynda D'Agostino (Nick), Naomi Verwey, Brennan Verwey (Nicole) and Nadine Fyfe (Bryan); his grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie, Madeline, Joshua, Jake, Joey, Nicholas, Alyssa, Alec and Brooklyn; his great grandchildren, Jasper, Kyzlee, Kason, Daymon, Kinsley and Charlee; and his sister-in-law Janice Ecclestone (Miles). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and long time friends.
Acknowledging Barry's passion of nature and wildlife, in lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters OR St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery, Lifford ON.
