He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Aurore Séguin and Alfred Séguin; his stepson Barry Elliott; and his siblings, Jacqueline Comeau, Jeannine Philipon, Maurice, Gaston, Bernard and Jacques Séguin.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Judy Broadbent (Brian) of Montreal, Debbie Stenabaugh (Lorne) of Kapuskasing, Donna Santerre (Louis) of Petawawa and Sandra Bouchard (André) of Kapuskasing; his brother Yvon (Rita) of Kapuskasing; and his daughter-in-law Debbie O'Rourke of Kapuskasing. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
