He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Steve (Joëlle Carrière) of Kapuskasing; his wife Louise Doyle of Kapuskasing; his mother Dagmar Hooper of Kapuskasing; his siblings, Evelyn Hooper (Don Harrison) of Kapuskasing, Louise Carmichael (Patrick) of Sudbury, Doreen Hooper-Arthur (Christopher) of Kapuskasing, David (Suzanne) of Kapuskasing and Murray (Suzanne) of Jogues; his goddaughter Cheryl-Lee Hooper; his father Donald; and his brothers, Richard and Kenneth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
