He was predeceased by: his former wife Délina (Belisle); his daughter Anna; his grandson Patrick; and his siblings, Robert, Simon, Gérard, Narcisse, Henri, Jean-Guy, Yves, Cécile Chiniec and Yvonne Ouellet.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Jacynthe) of Kapuskasing, Stéphane (Lilianne) of Timmins, Diane Gravel (Michel) of Windsor, Lucille Ouellette (Denis Tremblay) of Gatineau, Joanne Dubosq (Léon) of Kapuskasing, Annette Viel (Léo) of Blind River and Julie Ouellette (Kevin Guiste) of Wendover; and his sister Rolande Boileau of Laval. He is also survived by eighteen grand-children and 26 great-grandchildren.
