She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Genier and Réjeanne Genier; and her niece Natalie Genier. She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Corey (Yvette-Eve) of Kapuskasing, Shannon Gauthier (Jean) of Timmins and Darryn Grandbois (Natasha) of Dunham, QU; her grandchildren, Tristan, Logan, Liam, Noah, Maeve and Josépi; and her siblings, Michel (Diane) of Cochrane, Suzanne Cousineau (Rhéal) of Cochrane, Carole Demers (Daniel) of Cochrane and Denis Genier (Lucie) of Cochrane. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada as expressions of sympathy.
