Jeannine Chainé Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2022, at the age of 89, Jeannine Chainé (Kapuskasing, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Elizabeth Ouellette (Octave), Gertrude Ouellette (Maurice), Léon Aubin (Jean), Adrien Aubin (Desanges), Raymond Aubin (Jacqueline) and Réjeanne Greig (Sidney).

She is survived by: her husband Gilles; her children, Michel, Francine (Marc Piché) of Kapuskasing and Denis (Elizabeth La Forest) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Stéphane Piché, Annabelle Piché (Eric Vachon) of Kapuskasing, Isabelle La Forest-Chainé, Louis La Forest-Chainé of Ottawa, Daniel La Forest of Montreal and Illiana Rayner of Stayner; and her great grandchildren, Julia and Mia.

We invite any interested persons to make modest donations in her memory to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation, an institution where she received exceptional care at various times in her life.
