“Jim was one of the first friendships I made at GM in the early eighties. We both had young families and played on the GM softball team together. I remember Jim as soft spoken, and always with a smile on his face. Later, it was clear that Kapuskasing was where Jim wanted to be. I did not see Jim as often in the last years of my working career, but when I did, again Jim always had a smile on his face. I did and always will consider Jim a friend. He will be missed.”
