It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert Couture (Kapuskasing, Ontario), born in Harty, Ontario, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernand and Georgette; his brother Marcel; and his nephew Angus. He is survived by: his wife Irène; his children, Marie-Josée Couture-Payant (Marcel) of Kapuskasing and Jean-Marc (Sarah Teasdale) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Genève, Yanik, Jacob and Caleb; his siblings, Michelle Veilleux (Claude) of Hearst, Carmen Madill (Edwin) of Kapuskasing, Gilles (Carole) of Kitigan and Jean-Pierre (Véronique) of Val-Rita; and his sister-in-law Chantal Couture of Ville-Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
