It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garry Dent (Kapuskasing, Ontario), who passed away on May 25, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dent and Audrey Beaulne. He is survived by: his daughter Chantal Plourde (Steven); his grandchildren, Carine, Loïc (Maëlle Plourde), Eric and Rémi (Alex Leclerc); and his siblings, Jim of Ottawa, Tim of Toronto, Donald, Bruce Dent of Timmins and Sue Dent of Sturgeon Falls.

Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, a funeral service will be held at a later date.

“So sad to hear of the passing of Gary, my condolences to the Dent family. I lived in Kapuskasing in the nineteen seventies where we became very good friends and kept in touch over the years. We would call each other on August 29th as we shared the same birthday, including the same year. Our conversations covered lots of topics and were always a pleasure to look forward to. Gary left a great impression on many people, he'll be missed. RIP Gary.”
