She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry; her children, Patrick Towne, Robert Towne and Rev. Jeralyn Towne; her granddaughter Kate Towne; and her brother Walter Johnston.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Towne (Marg Towne) of Kingsville and Thomas Towne (Kim Poleyko Towne) of Kapuskasing; her grandchildren, Jaye Sunsurn, Kathleen Towne (Brian Small), Christopher Towne (Natalie Towne), Hilary Towne McGillivray (Jamie McGillivray), Alan Towne (Danielle Towne) and Lauren Towne (Graeme Poechman); her great grandchildren, Zack, Ava, Joshua, Spencer, Evan, Gabriel and Julian; and her daughter-in-law Edna Towne of Windsor.
The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Good Shepherd Ministries or the Kapuskasing Food Bank as expressions of sympathy.
