He was predeceased by: his father Albert Léonard; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Mona; his children, Tanya Savoie (Matthew) of Sarnia, Manon Isabelle (Maxime) of Val Rita, Joey Léonard of Kapuskasing, Jonathan Gaouette of Kapuskasing and Dylan Gaouette of Kapuskasing; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Easton, Naomie, Yannik and Ella; his mother Gertrude Lebrun (John Tremblay) of Russell; and his brothers, Yves Léonard (Marie) of Timmins and Rémy Léonard of Ottawa.
