He was predeceased by: his siblings, Léo, Edmond, François, Fidèle Dorval, Emilienne Lafontaine, Marie-Anna Nadeau and Françoise Monfette.

He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Germaine Duhaime (Jean) of Ottawa, Aline Dallaire (Gaëtan) of Opasatika, Jacqueline Lemieux (Joël) of Hearst, Jacques (Ginette) of Opasatika, Alice Brooks (Raymond) of Kapuskasing, Benoit of Cochrane and Yvonne Dorval (Mike) of Timmins; his siblings, Lucien Dorval (Louisianne), Roland Dorval, Lucienne Turgeon (late Léonard) of Opasatika and Rolande Dorval (Bruyère Dulac) of Varennes, Québec; and his grandchildren, Stéphane, Francis, Anne, Nathalie, Hugo, Manon, Nadia, Mélissa, Anick, Derick, Jason, Kyle, Kevin, Julie and Mélanie. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic, a funeral service will be held at a later date.
