With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Sylvain (Kapuskasing, Ontario), who passed away on January 6, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband René; her son-in-law Donald Blier; and her siblings, Marcel, Gaëtan, Guy Larocque, Suzanne Royer, Juliette Boulanger, Jeannine Turgeon and Claire Lebel.

She is survived by: her children, Fernand (Laurette) of Opasatika, Laurent (Lise) of Kapuskasing, Denise Hébert (Denis) of Embrun, Denis (Rachelle) of Opasatika and Pauline Blier of Hearst; her siblings, Murielle Parenteau of Kingston, Aline Beaudoin of Geraldton, Denise Poirier of Geraldton, Bertrand Larocque of Geraldton and Laurianne Larocque of Geraldton; and her brother-in-law Maurice Sylvain of Opasatika. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
