He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazelton Phelan and Dolarena; and his brother Francis Phelan. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Nyman and Sheila Phelan-Mondor; his grandchildren, Mitchell and Catherine; his girlfriend Judy; the mother of his children Catherine; and his sisters, Jenny Chenier (Mike) and Melvina Phelan.
