The memory of Mihaela Popescu of Kanata, Ontario, who passed away on September 11, 2024 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mihaela shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mihaela farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iancu and Silvia. She is survived by: her husband Petre Popescu; and her children, Ioana and Paula.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highland Park Cemetery (2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp, ON K0A1L0). A burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
