Martin left this world on May 26, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Johanna (Madigan); his in-laws, Olga and Henry Gould; and his siblings, Clement, John (Gloria), Reg, Jackie (James) and Michael.

He is survived by: his wife Beverley; his siblings, Terry (Sylvia), James (Jeannie), Noreen Resmer and Patricia Yantha (Ed); and his in-laws, Dorothy, Lorraine, Marnie, Gene (Fan), Ken (Marilyn), Lillian (Gerald), Lois, Doug (June), Sheldon (Eva), Norma (Rockland), Dennis (Yolanda), Michael, Franklin (Kathy), Sharon (Brian), Glen and Sheila. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Martin's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation if so desired.

“Beverley, I wonder how many people will know where Latchford is located. I always appreciated to see you & Martin @ the dinners @ the Mlacak Center. Because Martin did not have a bank a/c @ Scotiabank Beaverbrook Branch I would cash his cheques for referring with Kanata Minor Hockey Assoc.. I retired January 1993 which is 31 years ago so Martin & I had that friendship since I met all those Irish folks @ Latchford in the early 60's. Since August 2021, we moved to Hazeldean Gardens. Take care”
