With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Mary Theresa (Johnson) Herzog (Kanata, Ontario), born in Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Johnson and Joseph Johnson; her brother Edward Johnson; and her niece Janet Armstrong. She is survived by: her husband Waldfried "Fred" Herzog; her daughters, Rosemary "Rose" Cain (Stephen) and Sheri Herzog (Martin); her grandchildren, Austin and Jordan Cain; and her sister Barbara Armstrong (David).

She was strong to the end, giving a valiant fight against cancer, and also surviving Covid at the end.
