She is survived by: her daughters, Gisele (John) and Karen (Steve); her grandchildren, George (Kenzie) and Susan (Nolan); her sister-in-law Ute; her nieces and nephews, Thomas (Lonnie), Matthias, Julia and Nele; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Laura, Stella, Paul and Clemens.

Hanneliese would have appreciated donations to the Ottawa Humane Society, where she rescued two of her beloved.
