He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Eleonora (Rolofs); his children, Patricia, Susan Kelly (Dan), Steven Johnston (Mary Teresa), Cindy Johnston-Laplante (Douglas), Brenda Mulder (Eric) and Linda Johnston (Brian); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Shannon, Ellen, Annie, Kyle, Kaylea, Sandra and Greg; and his great grandchildren, Peter, Sasha, Declan, Lachlan, Nolan, Emmett, Axl, Dylan, Brody, Avielle and Julia.

Given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, there will be a private Celebration of Life at Kelly's Funeral Home- Kanata Chapel to be held on August 11, 2021 for only family.
