It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Oswald Venier of Kanata, Ontario, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnifred and Angelo; and his sister Gloria Ostrowski (John). He is survived by: his wife Mary Chiarelli; his children, Perry (Jocelyn), Bobby, Danny (Roxanne) and Lisa (Kim); his grandchildren, Benjamin (Heather), Bobby (Alexis), Carmen (Alex), Felix (Miranda), Milo and Quinn; his pets, Sasha, Mika, Mowgli, Mukwa and Tui; his sister-in-law Randi Hansen (Carolyn Halley); and his caregivers, Christine Fitzgerald and Gerry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Isidore Parish (1135 March Rd, Kanata, ON K2K1X7).
