He is survived by: his children, Sharon (John), Brian (Annette), George (Nancy), Peter, Marilyn (Boyne), Tom, Mike (Marites), Bernie (Doreen) and Colleen (Randy); his grandchildren, Shannon, Julie, Kristy, Heather, Sean, Nadine, Janina, Michael, Quinten, Callan, Patrick and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Oliver, Madeline, Nicholas, Ray, Seamus, Riley, Tia and Lucas; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Willard, Jewell Lawrence and Claire McGillvray; and his wife Heather Beardsell.

Given COVID restrictions family was often unable to visit George and were fortunate to provide him with a caregiver.
