He was predeceased by: his son Michael; his mother Doris; his aunt Joan; his stepmother Bernice; and his friend Lillian.

He is survived by: his daughter Tammy (Sean Cochrane); his grandchildren, Charlie (Anolez), Gillian (Kevin) and Stephen; his father Marvin Broughton; his uncle Claude Broughton; his brother-in-law R. Douglas Clifton (Judy); his nephews, Scott (Jeannine) and Jeffery (Jane); and his cousins, Bob (Diana), Danny Bujas (Cathy) and Tara. He is also survived by one great nephew and 3 great nieces.

Memorial donations to the Humane Society and Kanata Food Cupboard are appreciated.
