He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice and Raymond; and his sister-in-law Judith Smith. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Jennifer (Daniel), Brenden and Ryan (Ashleigh); his grandchildren, Lucas, Grady, Shae and Keeva; his siblings, Catherine Ouderkirk (John), Patrick (Lorraine) and Timothy (Marita Jane Grabiak); and his brother-in-law Roy Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society in his name and one of his favourite four-legged friends, Dayton.
