It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Friesen (Jarvis, Ontario), who passed away on March 25, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona Friesen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Stone (Harnick) and Arthur Stone (Peter Friesen); her daughter Melody Simpson; her grandson Michael Smith; and her sibling-in-law Kay Harp (Elijah).
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Friesen; her son-in-law Dan; her son Dwayne; her grandchildren, Sherry Smith, Kyle Simpson (Allie), Kent Simpson (Stephanie), Danialle Simpson, Naomi Friesen and Julia Friesen; her great grandchildren, Grace, Evan, Kale and Kaylin; her siblings, Bev Stone, Wynona Gifford, Fred Stone (Robert Gifford), Ruth, Bill, John (Ellen), Bob, Norman and Lorne (Doug Stone); her siblings-in-law, Jessie Mater, Connie Friesen, Frank Friesen, Jim Friesen, Anna Henderson (Fred), Joe Friesen (Queenie), Abe Friesen, John Friesen, Joan Friesen, Peggy Friesen and Jim Mater; and her friend Bluegrass. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
