She was predeceased by: her child Leslie; her parents, Clare Henderson and Dorothy Henderson; and her mother-in-law Lillian James. She is survived by: her husband Les James; her pet Ruby; and her siblings, John Henderson (Jean) of Mississauga and Lillian Bluhm (Bob) of Jarvis. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In memory of Joan, donations to Canadian Diabetes Society and Heart & Stroke Canada would be greatly appreciated by her family.
