He was predeceased by: his child Greetje; and his siblings, Ann Groen and Bert Strobosser. He is survived by: his son Clarence; his spouse Gerdy (Rauwerda); his children, Emily (Pat), Henry Boer (Brenda Hammond) of Simcoe and Tracy Corbin (Shawn) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Melissa Yarkie (Ray), Laura Zandberg (Adam), Joshua (Victoria), Abby Boer, Arden Boer, Jaron Corbin and Kyle Corbin; and his siblings, John Boer (Margie), Hank Boer (Audrey), Wilma Fennema, Tina Visser (Floyd), Keith Boer (Debbie) and Henk Groen. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
