He was predeceased by: his spouse Dory Froats; his parents, Elza Froats and Norah Froats; his siblings, Grace Burley (Ivan), Evelyn Thorpe (Andy) and William Froats (Mabel); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Van Allen (Clare) and Jean Adams (Ray).
He is survived by: his children, Brad Froats (late Carol) of Iroquois and Chris McNairn (Doug) of Morrisburg; and his grandson Jordan McNairn (Alecia) of Winchester. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
