He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marsden and Annie Marsden; and his siblings, Barbara (Bernard Haas) and Clive. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Marsden; his daughters, Susan Marsden (John) and Heather Marsden-Glen (Chris); and his siblings, Josephine Downs (Al) and John Marsden (Mickie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home (10 Beach Ave, Iroquois, ON K0E 1K0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (3038 John St, Cardinal, ON K0E1E0).
