It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brooke Leightizer of Iroquois, Ontario, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brooke Leightizer to pay them a last tribute.
As Brooke departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brooke may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brooke leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Leightizer and Helen Leightizer. He is survived by: his wife Nelly; his children, Alan (Hools), Karla Hough (Andrew), Grampa, Maddox and Paxton; and his sisters, Audrey Vrooman and Vicki Leightizer. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Former Dixon's Corner Public School (10951 Cook Rd, Iroquois, ON K0E1K0).
