He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schultz and Olga Schultz; his siblings, Joyce, Frances (Richard) and Mervyn (Theresa); his brothers-in-law, Jack Camick and Fred Gardner; and his brothers, Stanley (Vivian), Clarence, David, John and Glenn.

He is survived by: his wife Edith; his sons, Shawn (Sharon), Kyle (Kim), Blair (Karen) and Brent (Heidi); his grandchildren, Briana, Cameron, Benjamin, Kara, Grant, Lesley, Georgia and Brinley; his sister Shirley Camick; and his siblings-in-law, Ada Gardner, Joyce, Treana Neal, Beth Odell (Neal) and Allen Neal (Linda). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
