The passing of Arne Ivar of Innisfil, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Fors and Aino Ronkko Fors; his wife Lorraine McAlpine Nairn; his sister Aileen Watson; and his brothers-in-law, J. Graham Nairn (late Kathleen) and James Nairn (late Jane).
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Laurie), Sheila Leask (Frank) and Murray (Janice Moore); his siblings, Eric (Nancy) and Anne Beyers; and his grandchildren, Catherine (Dylan Baker), Andrew Fors (Alicia Willis), Emily, Eric, Stephanie Leask, Robert and Philip Fors (Zofia).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge St, Innisfil, ON L9S1L5).
Although donation, flowers and cards are not expected, memorials may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
