He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elliott and Marion Elliott; and his parents-in-law, Shirley Kelly, Doreen and Allan Hilderley.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Elliott; his children, Katie Clark (Mike), Jason Elliott (Mandi) and Lynsey Elliott; his grandchildren, Myrah, Zoe, Emma, Brooke, Collin and Kyle; his siblings, Pat Chown (Hugh), Gerald Elliott (Vicky) and Roger Elliott (Ann); his siblings-in-law, Dave Hilderley (Trice) and Gwen Card (John); and his canine grands, Rosie and Blue. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
